Which size should you print?
Choose a size for the viewing distance and wall, not only for the frame. Smaller formats suit shelves and gifts; larger formats work as a focal point.

Which paper works best?
Paper changes contrast, glare, and texture.

Where to print
A local print shop is easiest for discussing paper and inspecting a proof. Online services can offer more sizes but require careful upload settings. Home printing works best at smaller sizes supported by the printer.

Color and cropping
Do not resave or screenshot the artwork. Upload the original file, disable automatic enhancement when possible, and request “fit” or “no crop” rather than “fill.”

PDF or JPG?
Use PDF when the provider accepts it and you want the most predictable layout. Use JPG when the service only accepts images or when sharing digitally.

Confirm the provider’s own production requirements.
Can I print at home?
Yes, at a size your printer supports. Use matte photo paper and borderless mode only if it does not crop the design.
Is a frame included?
No. Our Star Map delivers digital artwork only.
Should I add bleed?
The artwork is supplied as a finished file. Ask the printer whether it needs bleed before altering anything.
